Alyth Golf Club

Golf

Keen golfers are spoilt for choice when staying at The Alyth Hotel, with three excellent courses within a few minutes’ drive, and a further three within 30 minutes. Why not come for a week, play a different course each day, and round off your stay with our fabulous Sunday Roast?

  • Alyth Golf Club

Alyth Golf Club offers both an 18-hole (6,264 yd) heathland layout, plus a challenging 9 hole course (3078 yards, Par 35). Playing these courses demands constant attention, as a combination of tree lined fairways and diverse rolling terrain put the emphasis on precision golf rather than distance, although both are required.

  • Strathmore Golf Centre

Strathmore Golf Centre has something for everyone - both the 18-hole Rannaleroch Course and the 9-hole Leitfie Links, plus a 10-bay covered golf range, golf academy and a friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse. The par 72, Rannaleroch course has generous fairways, rolling greens and is a challenge to good golfers while forgiving for the "not so good".

  • Blairgowrie Golf Club

Blairgowrie Golf Club is one of the UK's most highly regarded golf clubs, famous for its rich history and Championship golf courses. The Club features the renowned Rosemount and Lansdowne Championship courses plus a majestic 9-hole course, all set in heather lined avenues of pine and silver birch.

  • Piperdam Golf Course

Piperdam Golf Course is set in the most beautiful of locations, boasting some breath-taking views, all sculpted from the gentle slopes around a 40-acre fishing loch. The New Course at Piperdam is a wonderful and unique test of Scottish parkland golf with a par of 71, and can play anything from a challenging 6305 yards off the back tees to a more sympathetic length off their other tees.

  • Kirriemuir Golf Club

    Kirriemuir Golf Club

Kirriemuir Golf Club is a James Braid course nestling at the foot of the Angus Glens - a true hidden gem. The course offers a challenge for all levels, with lush fairways and fast undulating greens beautifully presented in a mature parkland setting with spectacular views of the Angus Glens.

  • Forfar Golf Club

    Forfar Golf Club

Forfar Golf Club was the first course anywhere in the world built to be 18 holes from the day it opened for business. Designed by Tom Morris in 1871, Forfar is now a modern, inclusive and friendly golf club that just happens to have a fantastic course notable in the history of the sport. The layout provides an excellent variety of holes in a beautiful setting.
